Iran is willing to restart nuclear discussions with the United States as long as it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

Abbas Araghchi stated only diplomacy was effective, and revealed new appeals had been made by go-betweens to resume discussions with the US government. He said Iran had zero undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to allow the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for protective measures.

Walking a Complex Course

The foreign minister is walking a difficult route since Iran wishes not to appear to be operating from a situation of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen more resilient militarily and psychologically from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an inalienable right to refine atomic fuel on home soil that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Previous Discussions Abruptly Terminated

The previous five rounds of negotiations between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile end on 12 June when the Israeli government, with Washington's assistance, targeted Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that concluded with the US president asserting the facilities had been destroyed. Following this, European countries employed their right to restore international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Proposed

Iranian officials stated they felt they had attained a "perfect agreement" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was agreed an Iran-based consortium with American involvement could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to declare success since local refinement would have continued and the US could be assured that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the talks that US nuclear scientists could work within Iranian territory, but that was a logical implication of the cooperative offer. Representatives stated on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with the US representative Steve Witkoff only for the arrangement to disintegrate due to "spoilers in Washington".

Existing Position

Tehran representatives stated the consortium offer was now no longer available, but it seems very probable the suggestion could be revived in some form if negotiations reopen.

Trump last week said he had been obtaining communications that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but in private Iranian officials claim they are not yet obtaining clear proposals from America either explicitly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as the Qatari government, Egypt, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been criticized of passivity in the face of the US president's straightforward manner, but Iran says dialogue is not part of a performance.

Negotiating Standpoint

In his remarks to the conference, aimed to portray the US as a hegemonic power that abuses the concept of global regulations, the foreign minister stated the 12-day war showed the clash could not be resolved by military means. He asserted the assaults began with a American requirement for an complete Tehran capitulation and culminated with an unconditional call for a ceasefire.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were carried out with complete American awareness and coordination, making faith difficult to rebuild.

Negotiations Continues the Primary Answer

The foreign minister stated: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned negotiations; it was America and the European states that had repeatedly tried to impose their desires during the discussions. Diplomacy can still be alive and remains the ultimate answer to address disputes, but its requirements, rules and fundamentals must be adhered to."

"Provided that they talk to the Iranian people with the language of respect and respect, they will obtain a response in the identical language."

Recovery and Reconstruction

In what is described by Iran's diplomats as the battle of recovery and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was assured Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been rebuilt. We gained numerous insights from this conflict; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the weaknesses of the opponent."

He added: "We effectively endured this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they planned to eliminate, remains in place. The sites and machinery, if eliminated, will be restored; what is essential is the resolve of the nation of Iran and then the social solidarity that they aimed at, but were unable to shatter. The nation of Iran have developed more resilient, more united, and more supportive of the government and the country in the aftermath of this assault."
